Hoodies: the 700-gram line
Five hoodie rows, 560–780 g. Under 700 g packed is a midweight garment, whatever the listing says.
Hoodie listings exaggerate weight more than any other category. "Heavyweight" is a marketing word; 720 g packed is a fact. The scale settles arguments that photos cannot.
The other hoodie trap is the drawcord and the hood lining. Two hoodies with the same chest measurement can differ by 120 g, and that difference is usually the lining.
The rows
Hoodies rows in the 2027 sample
Sorted by packed weight, because that is the number the freight line uses.
Before you add it to a parcel
Three hoodies checks
Short and specific. Each one has saved a parcel at least once.
01Weight band
Hoodies in this sample runs 560–780 g. Add 120 g for packaging if the row only lists item weight.
02QC angle
Ask for the inside seam and the hem. Outside photos hide the two places that fail first.
03Coupon fit
Check whether the coupon discounts freight or goods. A shipping coupon does nothing for a single light item.
